We bought this unit back in 2013 because we fell in love with the natural light and the neighborhood's energy. But over time, we realized the existing walls were blocking all that amazing light we'd fallen for, and the space just wasn't working as efficiently as it could. Working with Laura was transformative. She really took the time to dig deep with us, helping us discover our aesthetic and what we truly wanted from the space. We envisioned a high-contrast but calm backdrop for our showstopper kitchen, and that's exactly what we got. The incredible thing is that even though there are actually more walls and more structure now, the space feels so much bigger. The moment I open the door, I immediately feel at home. We absolutely love this space.

The primary bathroom received a transformative overhaul, replacing a clunky walk-in closet with a spa-like steam shower clad in earthy green tile. A structural column, originally seen as a challenge, was reimagined into a design feature, creating an organic bench and built-in quartz shelving for both adult and baby essentials. In the powder room, dark blue walls and black herringbone floor tile form a moody backdrop for minimalist fixtures, including a floating toilet, shelf, and sink. Woven baskets and open shelving add texture and function, creating a perfectly layered space that feels cozy yet refined.
