Wallpaper was far more common in midcentury homes than it is today. It can be a splendid way of bringing color into your bathroom, whether for the whole space or an accent wall. Laura Tribbett, principal of AD PRO Directory firm Outline Interiors, demonstrates how to make the look work for a contemporary bathroom with this statement wallpaper. Tribbett tries to incorporate a vinyl or performance wallpaper into her bathroom projects, or she opts to tile halfway up the wall for more splash protection, as she did here.
