While working for architect Thomas Juul-Hansen, Laura re-designed the interior furnishings of the 3 bedroom apartment along the Hudson River belonging to renowned Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the residents of the building were forced to re-locate while repairs were made to the ground floor restaurant and elevator systems. During this period, all of the millwork and flooring was refinished, and it was the opportune time to freshen up the furnishings! Custom-designed upholstery, hand-made silk rugs, and iconic mid century antiques were brought in to warm up the interior.
