You know those projects where the client is a dream, has great taste, and totally respects your vision and lets you run with it? That was exactly what we experienced when given the opportunity to transform a bland home office into this dramatic, moody space with lots of character.
Enveloping the walls in a navy lacquered grasscloth and coordinating paint color set the tone for the space. We were all in. A custom area rug featuring a faux bois pattern in an earthy green added a playful twist. Gauzy sheer drapery panels lent a nice softness and subtle glow to the room. Polished brass accents in the pendant and the drapery hardware acted as the ‘jewelry of the room’. My favorite oversized round brass wall mirror helped keep the room feeling more open and spacious, while graphic artwork and styled shelving brought more interest and pops of color to this cozy space.
